History

Miley Kirk was born on Mars in 2363. Like both her parents and her older brother, Miley spent a great deal of time around two things. Starfleet and computer systems to the point that she became really good at the latter. In 2381 she left for Starfleet Academy in order to further specialize in her craft, also with both her parents having served in Starfleet it seemed like the optimal choice.

While at the Academy, Miley Kirk met a fellow cadet named Amelia Baird who was also in the engineering track. The two became close friends and even dated for a very short time during their junior year at the Academy. Miley Kirk would be assigned to the USS Fonvor as her first duty assignment following graduation from the Academy. She would remain on board the Fonvor until 2388. About a month after her friend had left the ship, Miley Kirk met a diplomat. It was from there that Miley Kirk opted to switch away from engineering and go into the diplomatic corps. During one of her first missions she met Nuri Varrom and they became involved with each other shortly afterward.
