| Personal History | Freya Clarke is from New Mexico, Earth which is where she grew up while her father served in Starfleet throughout most of her childhood. She is the only child of Joel and Ruby Clarke, and was born in the year 2354. Her first year at Starfleet Academy she met Blake Preston, who she eventually married during her sophomore year at the Academy. Toward the end of her senior year at the Academy she had their first and only child, a daughter they named Charlotte. Both Freya and her husband Blake were assigned to the USS Legaspi as science officers. Meanwhile, their daughter remained on Earth with her grandparents since there wasn't enough space aboard the Legaspi. Freya was selected for promotion in 2377, after a year of service aboard the Legaspi. She was also assigned to fill the role of deputy department head in the science department. This was also about the time that Freya began considering the possibility of command. By 2379 after three years aboard the ship she was transferred along with her husband to Outpost 19. Once on board the outpost her daughter was able to move from Earth to come live with them. The adjustment period took some time, but eventually the new Chief Science Officer was able to adjust to this. Freya would be promoted again in 2382 to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. She remained aboard for another four years before an opportunity to transfer to a command level officer came up. In 2388 Freya transferred to the USS Hooke as the Executive Officer. Her husband Blake had also transferred, however, he took a position as an Executive Officer aboard a different starship, the USS Legaspi. Freya took Charlotte with her since the ship her husband had gone to wasn't able to have civilian family members aboard. |
