| Personal History | Braxx Esrann was born in 2353, he is the second oldest child and has two brothers and one sister. He was born on Bolus where he grew up while his father was serving in Starfleet. Like Braxx, his sister Ylendra also chose to join Starfleet though she became an officer first. Braxx didn't quite have the best school grades and failed the officer entrance examination. He left for the Starfleet Training Academy for Enlisted personnel in 2371 and graduated both that and the Engineering Specialist School in the same year. Due to his relatively high marks in both training academy and schooling he was able to start his career at the rank of Crewman. By 2372 Braxx had not only promoted to the rank of Third Class Petty Officer, but also met Dixis his future wife. A year later the two of them had gotten married just before the start of the Dominion War. By that time he was a Second Class Petty Officer. With the start of the Dominion War, his change in career path to Quartermaster, and his marriage to Dixis everything was going all right. His wife went to Bolus where she would eventually give birth to their daughter in 2374. At the end of the Dominion War Braxx was again promoted to First Class Petty Officer and assigned to Deep Space Four. His wife and daughter joined him on the station and they made attempts to have a second child, though they were unsuccessful. It would be 2378 before he would be promoted to Chief Petty Officer. In 2381 he was selected for the Warrant Officer program and left for the Training Academy. He graduated after six months and was assigned to the USS Fedora. Just before his assignment to the Fedora his wife gave birth to their second daughter. Both his wife and two children returned to Bolus after deciding it was best for them to not be on board starships. In 2388, after seven years, Braxx was again promoted to the rank of Staff Warrant Officer. He was also reassigned to serve as the Quartermaster on board the USS Hooke. Before leaving for the new ship, however, he spent some time on Bolus with his family. After taking a month of shoreleave he then made his way to the ship. |
